Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Graphic Designer to join our growing
team. As a Graphic Designer at Ladies Who Lead, you will play a critical role in creating visually
stunning designs that align with our brand’s mission to inspire, educate, and elevate women in
leadership. You will work closely with our marketing, communications, and events teams to deliver
engaging content across multiple digital and print mediums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling visual content for a range of projects, including social media graphics, web banners, newsletters, event materials, and print collateral.
- Design and maintain the consistency of the Ladies Who Lead brand across all platforms and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to conceptualize and execute design projects.
- Develop graphics for online campaigns, workshops, webinars, and events.
- Ensure designs meet project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Stay current with design trends, technologies, and tools, and apply them in innovative ways.
- Edit and optimize images, videos, and other multimedia content for use across various platforms. Maintain and organize design assets and files for future use.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) as a graphic designer, preferably in a non-profit, women’s empowerment, or leadership-focused environment.
- Strong proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with web design and UX/UI principles is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for women’s leadership and empowerment, with a commitment to the mission of Ladies Who Lead.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Understanding of social media marketing and how design can be leveraged for engagement.
