Role Overview
The Environmental Scientist/Engineer will be an integral part of BNF’s mission to deliver exceptional environmental and engineering solutions. This role involves leading technical operations, enhancing communication through refined proposals and reports, conducting detailed research, and supporting the execution of impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Writing:
- Develop and refine project proposals aligned with client needs and BNF’s mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling, actionable documents.
Technical Support:
- Offer insights and solutions for environmental and engineering projects.
- Assist in data analysis and problem-solving to support project goals.
Report Format Updating:
- Standardize and enhance report templates to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Regularly review and update documents for accuracy and professionalism.
Research:
- Conduct comprehensive research on environmental trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Analyze organizational processes to propose improvements that align with industry standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with diverse teams across multiple regions.
- Ensure clear, professional communication in English to maintain alignment and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in proposal writing, reporting, and research.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Monday.com for Project Management; is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently or within a team.
Language:
- Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of environmental regulations in the New York City.
- Experience working in dynamic, multicultural teams.
- Certifications in project management, technical writing, or related fields.
