Position Overview:
We’re seeking a highly creative, social media-savvy Content Strategist to lead the ideation and development of video content designed to captivate audiences and drive viral engagement. The ideal candidate is a trend-spotter who understands what makes content shareable and can translate our brand values into compelling, platform-specific video concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trend Research & Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and pop culture.
- Identify viral content opportunities and adapt them to align with our brand and product messaging.
- Creative Concept Development:
- Generate fresh, innovative ideas for short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Craft storyboards, scripts, and visual concepts for engaging and family-friendly campaigns.
- Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a content strategy tailored to each platform’s unique audience and algorithms.
- Collaborate with video producers, graphic designers, and influencers to bring content to life.
- Analytics, Optimization & Reporting:
- Monitor the performance of video content using analytics tools.
- Use insights to refine strategies, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
- Create detailed reports on engagement, reach, virality, and ROI for each campaign.
- Present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for content optimization.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with product teams to showcase toys in fun, organic ways.
- Work with influencers and creators to amplify reach and credibility.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in content creation, social media strategy, or a similar role
- Creativity: A portfolio of successful viral campaigns or creative projects.
- Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of trending formats, challenges, and content styles on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Storytelling Skills: Ability to turn ideas into compelling narratives that connect with audiences.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
