What You’ll Do
As our first Forward-Deployed Engineer, you'll drive customer success by managing end-to-end testing pipelines using our AI platform. Joining our customer success team, you'll own the technical relationship with customers from pre-sales through ongoing support, transforming their requirements into reliable automated test suites.
This role requires a resourceful problem-solver capable of navigating complex technical challenges while building strong customer relationships. You'll balance hands-on troubleshooting with strategic customer management to ensure our customers get the most value from our testing service.
There will always be new ways and opportunities to deliver value to our customers, but as a Forward Deployed Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead technical onboarding and workflow integration
- Generate, configure, and productionalize AI-generated test suites
- Ensure test reliability through proactive monitoring and failure resolution
- Integrate with customer CI/CD pipelines
- Drive pre-sales through technical demos and assessments
- Develop custom solutions for unique customer needs
- Shape product direction based on customer insights
- Collaborate with design and engineering on platform improvements

What We’re Looking For
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Proficiency with programming languages and test automation tools, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, Playwright, or similar
- Experience debugging and automating web applications using DOM selectors, network requests, and browser DevTools
- Strong customer-facing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Expertise in adapting solutions across CI/CD environments, version control systems, and diverse infrastructure setups, including containerized, cloud, and on-premise deployments

Compensation
$100k to $120k expected base salary range plus equity*
*Following various state laws, we must display the pay range for this job. Since we are willing to hire within a broad spectrum of qualifications, we also reflect a broad pay range. The expected base salary range that we are targeting for this position can be adjusted up or down based on individual qualifications.
