About the role

We’re on the lookout for an exceptionally talented and driven General Manager who’s ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime while building a career with real purpose.

Specific responsibilities

Your most important objective will be to drive our mission forward by advancing our North-Star Metrics:
Number of Customers
Income Generated for TukTuk Owners in Sri Lanka
Average Customer Rating

Mentor and Grow the Team: You’ll recruit, mentor, and foster the growth of our exceptional employees, helping them reach their full potential. You’ll also manage KPIs, oversee payroll, employment contracts, and handle performance reviews.

Deliver Unforgettable Customer Experiences: Every detail matters. You’ll be responsible for maximising 5-star reviews, continuously thinking about ways to delight our customers and enhance their experience.

Maintain Profitability: You’ll take charge of the P&L and ensure we continue running a lean and efficient operation. As a self-funded social enterprise, we rely on being financially sustainable. You’ll manage department budgets, approve spending requests under LKR 5,000, and monitor expenses to ensure profitability while driving growth.

Must have
A hunger to learn, grow, and take on the challenge of leading a rapidly growing company.
The ability to break down complex real-world problems into actionable milestones and tasks, working through them systematically.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle a variety of tasks and priorities.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
An “owner mindset,” with the ambition and drive to take full responsibility for the business’s success.

Nice to have
Experience in management consulting or construction project management would be an advantage, but not essential.
Experience working in the adventure tourism segment
