The Opportunity
Tangify is transforming the intellectual property landscape with AI-driven invention discovery and disclosure management tools. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded student or recent grad to join our team and support high-impact business development and marketing initiatives.
Role Overview
As the Business Development and ABM Intern, you will work closely with our CEO and VP of Marketing to drive outreach and engagement efforts, manage and execute social media campaigns, research target audiences, and identify industry opportunities. You’ll play a key role in helping shape Tangify’s brand presence while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Target Audience Strategy & Outreach: Collaborate with the CEO to define and prioritize target audiences. Build and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn, Apollo, and other platforms; research and document company insights, news, and contact details for personalized outreach.
- Campaign Management: Launch, monitor, and optimize outreach campaigns on behalf of the CEO and the Tangify brand.
- Competitive Landscape Tracking: Work with the VP of Marketing to research and maintain a Competitive Landscape Tracking sheet, staying updated on competitors and industry trends.
- Event & PR Research: Identify relevant events, PR opportunities, and media channels; connect with industry publications for visibility.
- Content Library Production: Manage Tangify’s content library, outline and draft written content using ChatGPT, and create graphics or wireframes as needed.
- General Startup Support: Assist the team on various ad hoc projects, providing valuable support as new initiatives develop.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in College or University, with interest in business development, marketing, or related fields.
Strong research, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with LinkedIn and interest in learning outreach tools like Apollo, Hubspot, and Dripify.
Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing tasks in a startup environment.
This role is ideal for a proactive, adaptable student eager to contribute to Tangify’s growth and gain valuable experience in business development and marketing.
