Responsibilities

• Research and identify high-impact keyword opportunities to boost organic search rankings
• Craft compelling, SEO-optimized blog posts, web copy, social media content, email campaigns, and other digital assets
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives
• Optimize content for search engines through best practices in metadata, internal linking, image optimization, etc.
• Write and curate email newsletters, automated sequences, and other email-based communications
• Monitor content performance analytics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and content marketing strategies
• Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all content deliverables

Requirements

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail aka content champ
• Proficiency in keyword research, on-page optimization, and content analytics
• Experience in email marketing, including creating engaging email campaigns and automations
• Familiarity with content management systems, SEO tools, and digital marketing best practices
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team
• Passion for creative storytelling and a deep understanding of content that resonates with target audiences
• Bonus: Experience/interest in the music, entertainment, journalism or technology
