Job Summary

As a UI Engineer you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user interfaces for complex web applications focused on conversational AI and interactive maps.
You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet the needs of diverse users across multiple devices and platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to understand project requirements and create intuitive designs for conversational AI interfaces.
2. Convert mockups and wireframes into clean, efficient HTML/CSS/JavaScript code for both mobile and desktop applications, focusing on natural language interactions and map visualizations.
3. Ensure UI consistency across all projects by adhering to established design systems and guidelines, particularly in the context of chatbots and interactive maps.
4. Implement responsive web design techniques to ensure optimal performance on various screen sizes and devices for conversational AI platforms.
5. Optimize front-end components for scalability and maintainability, especially for real-time data rendering in map visualizations.
6. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs for chatbots and interactive maps.
7. Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices in UI/UX design for conversational AI and interactive mapping.

Qualifications

1. 2-3 years of professional experience as a UI Engineer or similar role
2. Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and past projects, particularly those related to chatbots and map visualizations.
3. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
4. Experience with responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues for interactive interfaces.
5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
