THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
Our Human Resources team is made up of around fifteen experts based globally working on the online and offline programs and activities, responsible for delivering HR administration, data management, managing end-to-end processes, and policy improvement. Other responsibilities include performing compliance tracking for local requirements and addressing employee queries and issues.
ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our HR team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in HR operations & employee engagement. The HR Intern will support various HR functions, including onboarding, engagement activities, and administrative tasks, while gaining insight into HR best practices.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Support a high hiring velocity by delivering the on-boarding and effective orientation process and working with Global People Operations to coordinate the Global Integration Week for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems which also includes generating reports and dashboards.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Working with Global People Operations, assist with immigration and travel-related tasks including business visa letters and verifications of employment.
- Manage employees' personal files and perform employee data audits to fulfill statutory requirements as needed.
- Assist in documenting HR procedures and policies.
- Support benefits enrollment and handle employee inquiries related to benefits.
- Act as a liaison between employees and HR, addressing general inquiries and concerns.
YOUR PROFILE
Skills and Experience:
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
- Maximum 1 year HR Operations, with solid understanding of fundamental HR practices and policies specific to Pune.
- Good understanding of HR Onboarding applications, HR Reporting, and data analysis.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize workload, effectively managing conflicting priorities daily. You like complete ownership; there is minimal management and extreme autonomy.
- You can handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; capability to monitor deadlines and remind the business leaders of the impending ones
- Comfortable with learning new systems and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Soft Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; outstanding interpersonal skills.
- You have a positive attitude, are passionate and can thrive in a super-fast paced and evolving environment
- High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
