Senior Backend Engineer

Liquid Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

We're looking for versatile engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments and can translate ideas into production code quickly. Your role will include:

Core Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy high-performance production systems.
• Design and implement precise performance monitoring systems with micro/nanosecond accuracy
• Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from design through deployment and maintenance

Required Experience:

• Strong track record (3+ years) developing production systems, ideally using systems programming languages (Rust, C++, C, Go)
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux environments (3+ years)
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical decisions with business priorities
• History of proactive problem-solving and adaptability across diverse technical challenges
• Strong interest in DeFi and blockchain technology

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Solana, or Move development
• Background in quantitative trading or financial technology
• Strong Rust programming skills
