Staff Engineer, One DSPM

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Engineer with expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and CSS to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in frontend development, a keen eye for design, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications.

What you will be doing

• Build new features for a web-based security application
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences across the entire product (we don’t have code specialists, we all own & work on the entire end-to-end code base)
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant frontend code and review your peers code for quality & functionality
• Partner with teammates, openly communicate with your peers and managers, and partner across UX & product to deliver best-in-class features for a growing product
• Engaging in cross functional team standups to prioritize tasks, communicate progress & blockers to team members, & work as a team to meet our deadlines & deliver impact for our customers

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in frontend development, with your most recent job in this area specifically
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript and CSS
• Experience reviewing product requirements documents and scoping work/capacity planning
• Comfort communicating with a global team - we live in Slack & Zoom.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field required, Masters degree strongly preferred.
