We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Financial Controller (f/m/x) to join our fast growing team in Berlin.

As (Junior) Financial Controller (f/m/x) you will reach out for the next level of customer satisfaction, profitability, innovation, process excellence, and employee performance. You will work on several global and cross-functional projects. You will guarantee that all the daily business keeps running by providing clear analytical solutions to our key issues, additionally you will come up with a new and innovative way of shaping our processes.

Your responsibilities
- Support the team in reviewing operational and financial performance on both a Country & Functional level
- Contribute to a more effective, efficient, and accurate financial process (actual reporting, forecasting, budget), resulting in a timely and insightful analysis of results in order to support and drive business performance
- Actively contribute to the consistent improvement of the P&L Forecasting and Planning process
- Prepare analysis and presentations to provide transparency on business and financial performance to management and interpret business results
- Create accurate Business Plan and Budget processes as well as scenario calculations
- KPI monitoring, deviations analysis while also supporting management with ad-hoc scenario analyses
- Support and coordinate various controlling, planning, and reporting related projects to help to improve the reporting and controlling function within the company
Your profile
- You are self-motivated, curious, eager to learn and have great analytical skills, you like to adapt to constant change and hence you are flexible and skilled at multitasking
- You are highly organized and have an eye for details
- You have 1-2 years of first work experience in finance or controlling, thus you have a good understanding of accounting and the three financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
- You care about driving business performance together with the business teams
- You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and are motivated to develop these
- You speak fluent English and you are at least B1 level in German (and motivated to learn more)
- You like to work independently as well as in the team
