Role Overview:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Qensa Inc., you will join our founding team as a Co-Founder, guiding our technology strategy and leading the development of our platform. This Equity-Only role is ideal for a hands-on, full-stack developer with a passion for building user-focused solutions from the ground up. You’ll work alongside a seasoned team—our CEO, Chief Design and Product Officer (CDPO), and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)—who bring extensive experience across pre-seed, seed, and growth-stage startups through to IPO. With this expertise, we’re dedicated to scaling Qensa rapidly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Development: Take an active role in full-stack development, writing, and reviewing code to build, optimize, and scale our product.
• Technical Vision & Strategy: Define and execute a technology roadmap, making strategic decisions on platform architecture, stack, and scalability, leveraging most up to date libraries, AI, and modular architeture to ensure efficient development.
• Product Development: Lead technical development efforts to enhance our prototype and add impactful new features.
• Team Leadership: As the company grows, build and lead the engineering team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with the CEO and CDPO to align on feature development and user experience, along with the CMO to drive growth and user acquisition strategies.
• Securit & Compliance: Ensure platform security and regulatory compliance to build and maintain user trust.

Ideal Experience:

• Startup and High-Growth Background: Experience working in startup environments where you had significant responsibility in shaping the technology, from early stages through scaling.
• Full-Stack Development: Proven expertise in full-stack development, with hands-on skills in both frontend and backend technologies. Our current stack is React & Ruby on Rails but this is open to change.
• Low-Code / No-Code Tools: Familiarity with building or working on low-code or no-code platforms, particularly for customizable web-building solutions aimed at non-technical users.
• Team Leadership: Track record of building products that people love, with a focus on agile, collaborative development.
• Customer-Centric Design: Ability to translate user needs into intuitive and reliable technology solutions.
