We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. In this B2B sales role, you will play a key part in driving growth by building relationships with attorneys, non-profits, government organizations, and other corporations that require translation services.
You will be responsible for identifying prospects, generating leads, and creating a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales efforts, including cold calls, emails, and follow-ups, to engage prospective clients.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads by researching and identifying target organizations.
- Develop and foster relationships with clients in legal, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, projects, and initiatives to generate interest and drive conversions.
- Attend in-person conferences, networking events, and other industry gatherings to represent ImmiTranslate and build connections.
- Travel occasionally to meet with clients, present solutions, and nurture business relationships.
- Provide feedback to the team to continuously improve services and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Professional written and verbal English communication is required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to travel as required for conferences, client meetings, and company events.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within a B2B environment.
- Strong ability to prospect, identify opportunities, and close deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to generating leads and meeting goals.
- Passion for supporting language access and the immigration process is a plus.
- Foreign language skills are helpful, but not required.
Location
ImmiTranslate has offices in Washington, D.C. and Owings Mills, Maryland. This role does not require an in-office presence, but it is helpful.
Compensation
This role offers a competitive base salary along with a performance-based commission structure.
