About the Role
As an OpenAI & NLP LLM Intern at Xenara, you’ll collaborate with our AI and engineering teams to develop, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs). This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest technologies, contribute to impactful projects, and gain real-world experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Please Note: This internship is unpaid. Exceptional interns will be considered for a paid, full-time role with competitive salary and benefits after the internship.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in building, training, and optimizing NLP and LLM models, such as those from OpenAI.
2. Collaborate with the AI team to implement models that enhance customer engagement.
3. Contribute to NLP applications, including language understanding, text generation, and recommendation systems.
4. Conduct research on advancements in NLP and LLMs to identify new opportunities for our projects.
5. Fine-tune models to improve their performance and accuracy.
6. Handle data preprocessing, cleaning, and preparation for training NLP models.

What We’re Looking For

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Passionate about NLP, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions.
3. Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and libraries like Hugging Face.
4. Basic knowledge of NLP, sentiment analysis, or recommendation systems.
5. Proficiency in Python and data processing tools like Pandas and NumPy.
6. Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn.

Nice-to-Haves

1. Experience with OpenAI APIs or similar platforms.
2. Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
3. Familiarity with cloud services like (Azure) for model deployment.
