Introduction:
FlyFlat is seeking a dedicated Sabre Ticketing Agent to support our concierge team with flight booking and ticketing tasks via the Sabre GDS system. This remote role is available only to applicants in India, with required travel for training and team offsites.
Responsibilities:
Booking and Ticketing:
- Book flights and manage ticketing for clients using Sabre GDS, ensuring accuracy.
- Monitor flights for price drops and rebook as necessary to increase profitability.
- Update and confirm itineraries, seat assignments, and frequent flyer information, and handle other booking-related requests.
PNR and Internal Data Management:
- Respond to GDS queue inquiries within SLAs, ensuring timely communication.
- Interpret booking requests and air travel requirements accurately, leveraging available resources.
Process Improvement:
- Support team efforts to enhance booking procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Sabre GDS, specifically in booking and ticketing.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Asana) and data input on Google Sheets.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during times that can sometimes seem chaotic.
- Working knowledge of Airline industry policies.
- Ability to think outside the box in shopping and troubleshooting scenarios.
- Detail-Oriented

Nice to have experience:
- Knowledge of booking rental cars, hotels, cruises, and similar accommodations in Sabre.
- Experience with other GDS systems.
- Background in travel or hospitality, particularly with international or luxury bookings.
- Interest or experience in travel loyalty programs.
- Previous remote work experience with a self-driven, accountable work style.

Compensation and Employment Details:

- Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week with 9-hour shifts (1-hour break). Flexibility for shifts across time zones and days is expected.
- Location: Remote, India-based applicants only, with travel for training and offsites
- Start Date: December 9th-16th, TBD
