About the role

The delivery function at Gr4vy is centered around creating effective and practical ways to improve customer time to value and reliable roadmap execution. Working to embed data driven, highly visible communication structures, while facilitating healthy, high functioning teams.

• Focused on improving delivery, connection across teams, and empowering engineers to own their own journey.
• Collaboration across the build teams will be part of your day to day activities, encouraging operational excellence and continually improving ways of working within the teams.
• You will work closely with the build community, comprising engineering, design and product.
• Gr4vy is a fully remote company and wants you to work from where you are the most productive, or need to be.
• Our team is located across the globe, with our build team based primarily in LATAM and EMEA time zones.

Key responsibilities

Delivery Optimisation

• Own all planning related activities within the build teams.
• Management and resolution of dependencies across teams, and working to get external dependencies resolved.
• Facilitate and work with teams to set agile standards and ensure they are upheld.

Transparency on team efforts

• Monitor team dynamics and track delivery metrics.
• Proactive escalation and management of risks.
• Data driven approach ensuring that what we are doing connects into clear business objectives.
• Track and report against company goals that impact the build team.
• Facilitate a transparent decision making process across all teams.
• Work across the Build team to support and foster a high collaboration environment within a fully distributed team.
• Ensure the right level of information is readily available to the right people.

Connection across Build

• Facilitate all engineering sessions ensuring the purpose and function of each session is met and clear.
• Support communities of practice.
• Understand and be able to coach teams on the product delivery lifecycle.

Who you are

• You are a delivery manager with a successful track record of delivering against a dynamic roadmap in collaboration with product teams.
• You have a deep experience working in an agile delivery, engineering organization using Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean).
• You can clearly articulate the product development lifecycle and experience using different approaches within it.
• You build strong relationships and are seen as a trusted partner.
• You have a deep knowledge of team dynamics and delivery methods.
• You have demonstrable experience in building and leading high performing delivery teams.
• Communication and people are at the heart of how you work.
