Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer - API Integration to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API integrations that enable our products to interact seamlessly with various third-party software systems. You will work closely with our CTO to ensure reliable and secure data flows between systems, and you will play a key role in expanding the integration capabilities of our platform.
The Difference You Will Make:
As a Software Engineer - API integration, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain API integrations between our platform and various third-party systems such as CRMs, Calendar, ERP, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, etc.
- Develop and implement webhooks to handle event-driven workflows and allow real-time data updates and actions between our platform and external services.
- Handle API rate limits, retries, and error handling to maintain reliability and consistency of integrations.
- Work with OAuth, REST, SOAP, and other protocols to implement and maintain secure connections with third-party systems.
- Monitor integration performance, versioning, documentation, and testing.
Your Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, JavaScript.
- Experience developing and managing API integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and webhook systems with real-time communication.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
- Experience with API documentation tools like Postman, or similar.
- Experience with AWS (AWS Lamba, AWS EventBridge) and deployment of API-based services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating with popular software systems (Salesforce, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, Google Drive, Confluence, Gmail, Teams, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
