As part of this journey, we are seeking a Process Excellence Manager to lead process improvement initiatives across our manufacturing and real estate verticals.
Job Summary:
The Process Excellence Manager will drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements by analyzing, designing, and implementing process optimization strategies. This role will focus on building a culture of continuous improvement, establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring processes are scalable to support Coxwell’s growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and sales, to align and streamline processes. A key focus of this role is developing and implementing automation workflows based on SOPs to optimize resource allocation and improve operational speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing processes across departments, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop improvement plans.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Automation Workflows: Develop, document, and implement SOPs for key processes, then design and deploy automation workflows to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Performance Metrics and KPIs: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in manufacturing, supply chain, real estate, finance, and sales to align process improvement initiatives with organizational goals.
- Change Management: Drive change initiatives across the organization, ensuring teams are aligned and well-supported through training and communication.
- Project Management: Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain records of all process changes, improvements, and performance metrics, and report progress to senior management regularly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or Master’s in Operations Management is a plus.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or continuous improvement, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or production environments.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in creating automation workflows based on SOPs, optimizing efficiency and standardizing processes.
- Experience in developing and implementing SOPs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement programs.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in process mapping, process improvement tools (e.g., Visio, Minitab), and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar).
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
