About the Role:
As a frontend engineer at Thetawise, you’ll play an essential role in designing & implementing the core user experience. You’ll work directly alongside our founding team to brainstorm, optimize, and implement new & existing features used by thousands of students. You’ll help make decisions about what technical approach would be best for a proposed feature set & you’ll help us iterate to find designs that most effectively help users accomplish their goals.
What you’ll do:
- Build: Design and develop UI, improve site performance, and build new features.
- Iterate and collaborate: Work with the founding team to improve user experience. Quick iteration based on user feedback is core to our development philosophy.
What we’re looking for:
Experience: 2+ years of full-time Next js (or React / a comparable web framework) development experience
Builder: Someone who loves building & creating products that help people
Free-Thinker: Someone comfortable thinking for themselves & productively engaging in conversation to arrive at the best solution.
