Senior Backend Developer (Node.js+Typescript)

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Node.js and Typescript.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide and manage the development lifecycle of the project.
3. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
4. Write unit tests using Jest to ensure code quality and application reliability.
5. Should be able to quickly prototype and experiment with open-source tools and libraries
6. Produce comprehensive and usable software documentation.
7. Follow secure development, testing, and deployment guidelines and practices in order to adhere to the overall security of the system under consideration.

Requirements

1. B.E.\B.Tech\B.S. Candidates' entries with significant prior experience in the fields above will be considered.
2. 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of Node.js and Typescript.
3. Strong understanding of functional programming patterns
4. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
5. Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
6. Strong experience with both CouchDB and similar databases for distributed data storage and replication.
7. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
8. Experience in deploying and managing applications in GCP.
9. Familiarity with JWT-based auth with end-to-end encryption
10. Proficiency in writing unit test cases using Jest or similar testing frameworks.
11. Experience with distributed systems and data replication patterns is valuable
