MERN Stack Backend Developer (Healthcare Domain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Database Management: Manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Integration: Work on integrating third-party services and APIs into our healthcare applications.
• Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive healthcare data, including encryption and secure access controls.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and data models.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB and database design principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Understanding of security best practices in web development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai).
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in the healthcare domain or familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
