Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with expertise in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack. As a part of our team, you’ll work on back-end components, APIs, and services, contributing to the development of scalable, high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange
• Work with MongoDB for database design, data modeling, and efficient query handling
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers working with React to ensure smooth
  integration
• Implement and optimize application security, data protection, and storage solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, performing root cause analysis as necessary
• Work in an Agile environment with regular sprints, participating in code reviews and team meetings
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database design and optimization
• Familiarity with React.js and front-end integrations
• Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and back-end best practices
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Understanding of Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai
