Billing Manager

Lawtrades is transforming the legal industry by connecting in-house teams with top-tier legal freelancers through our marketplace platform. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our finance team and seeking an experienced Billing Manager to manage and optimize our billing operations.

Position Overview

The Billing Manager will oversee the billing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves managing customer onboarding, maintaining compliance with KYB regulations, and utilizing billing tools to support Lawtrades' financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Operations:

• Manage the entire billing process, from invoicing to collections.
• Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Onboard new customers, and complete KYB compliance checks for new clients ensuring smooth integration and setup in the billing system.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with finance, sales, and customer success teams to streamline billing operations.
• Provide support for customer inquiries related to billing and payments.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance billing processes and implement best practices.
• Utilize e-billing tools to optimize the billing cycle and improve efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate billing and collection reports for management.
• Maintain updated records for compliance purposes.
• Analyze billing trends to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in billing and collections.
• Experience with e-billing tools and systems is preferred.
• Proven track record in managing billing compliance, particularly KYB.

Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Proficient in billing software and financial management tools.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.
