Web Series Executive Producers (Part-Time)

The Tangent-Bound Media Network is developing a new streaming series and is looking for producers.

The Tangent-Bound Media Network was once one of the fastest growing indie podcast networks with resources for podcasters to get their show started. The network has since grown into a media network that includes services such as commercials, voice over work, digital content creation and some new and upcoming web series.

We are a very close-knit organization that strives to grow through our passions and partnerships.

Our small company is looking to bring on board series executive producers.

Job: Executive Producers are responsible for overseeing all departments and helping the development process, finding funding (sponsors), overseeing the production teams, and ensuring that the production staff maintains time and budget.

Duties:

• The perfect candidates will be responsible for overseeing all producers and assisting in reaching out to local and regional businesses for sponsorship opportunities to help produce our new series.
• The executive producers will work closely with the production staff to create a full production schedule and budget.
• The production staff will meet twice a week (virtually or in person) with the rest of the staff to ensure all schedules, and finances are continuously in order.
• Each executive producer will maintain the contact logs for each producer’s local/regional businesses contacted and sales made.
• Executive Producers will oversee the budget planning process, as well as delegating authority to each producer, writer, and remaining staff to ensure everything goes according to plan.
• Executive Producers will keep track of each producer’s progress.

Experience and Qualification:

• People Skills A MUST
• Management Experience
• Sales Experience
• Must be well organized
• Self Motivated
• Understanding of job boards, Trello/Asana/Click-Up/Jira/etc.

Office skills: Google Business Suite, Microsoft Office 365, etc.
Project Management experience a plus.
