Junior Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with a solid foundation in Django and microservices to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside senior developers to design, implement, and maintain backend applications using Spring and microservices. Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing microservices and REST APIs using Django
Collaborate with team members to integrate backend services with front-end applications.
Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices to ensure quality.
Support the design and development of databases, data storage solutions, and integrations.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing services to improve performance.
Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
Technical Skills Required

Languages: Proficiency in Python, with some experience in other backend languages being a plus.
Frameworks: Knowledge of Django, Flask or Fast API
Microservices: Basic understanding of microservices architecture and concepts.
Databases: Familiarity with SQL and experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
API Development: Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Version Control: Familiar with Git for version control.
CI/CD: Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions (nice to have).
