As a stealth startup developing the next-generation mobile navigation application, we are less than six weeks from our public launch. We have a clear, narrow roadmap and know-how to launch in and scale quickly throughout the United States within 6 months.

Our mobile application will help drivers and passengers move about safely and efficiently with exciting new features and perks – unlike current mobile navigation applications. As a talented Mobile App Developer, this is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation and build a product with a significant impact.

About You

Design, develop, and maintain highly optimized and user-friendly features for our iOS and Android navigation app.
Contribute to the codebase written primarily in Swift with some Objective-C legacy code.
Implement robust navigation functionalities using location services, mapping APIs, and routing algorithms.
Integrate with various third-party services and APIs for real-time data and functionality.
Optimize app performance for battery life and resource usage.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct thorough unit testing and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.

Your Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a mobile developer (mainly iOS)
Strong proficiency in Swift, with experience with Objective-C as a plus
Solid understanding of mobile development frameworks and best practices (mainly Xcode, Android Studio a plus)
Experience with location services, mapping APIs, and routing algorithms
Experience with network integration and data management
Familiarity with cloud deployment platforms (a plus)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
Passion for building user-centric mobile experiences

Bonus Points:

Experience with Apple CoreML and Vision framework
Experience with accessibility best practices
