The Role
We are currently seeking a Data Operations Team Lead to join, expand, and steer the organization's presence in Pune, India!
Part of the broader Addepar Data organization, the Portfolio Data Operations team is responsible for ensuring Addepar's clients have timely and high quality data. This will include overseeing the processing of portfolio transactions and positions, diligently completing verification checks, and assisting clients with their data support questions. The Data Operations group sits at the nexus of Addepar's activity and requires daily communications with financial data providers, clients, and other personnel across the company.
Important: The working schedule for this position is from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a "player/mentor" who will contribute to and supervise a team of Data Operations Analysts in Pune, India.
- Oversee and manage daily operational workflows for portfolio and aggregator data feeds, and help review, manage, and/or address data inquiries and requests from clients, internal stakeholders, and external
- Maintain effective process controls and accurate metrics to ensure quality standards, and organizational objectives and deliverables are achieved.
- Partner with members of Product and Engineering to identify and implement new processes and tooling features that improve data quality as well as increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to manage common operations workflows, projects, and new initiatives.
- Lead all aspects of the onboarding, mentorship, and career development of individuals on the team through timely and effective performance feedback and by providing learning and growth opportunities.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in the financial investment/advisory industry, with deep knowledge of capital markets, trade processing and lifecycle, and middle/back-office operations systems.
- Detailed and disciplined in documenting processes and standard methodologies and exhibits good follow through techniques.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, external data partners, and internal team members.
- Experienced with leading teams, cross-functional and cross-regional projects, and learning and development initiatives.
- Demonstrates effective problem solving abilities, self-motivation to take on responsibility, and a strong team-player mentality.
- Forward looking and pragmatic on finding effective solutions to complex issues and challenges.
- Willing to work flexible hours.
- Technical skills preferred in any or all of the following: Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, SQL, Salesforce, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or other common financial services systems and application
