Data Engineer

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for an ambitious Data Engineer eager to work with customer data and GCP products including BigQuery, Dataform, and Apache Kafka. We seek someone who is engineering-driven, capable of translating business and data requirements into production-ready stacks, and delivering innovative systems focused on data accuracy and resilience.

We need a candidate who is passionate about data and can champion its importance not only within the company but also to our customers. This individual will play a key role in shaping data collection, compliance, processes, and working cross-functionally across all Arketa teams.

The Role

• Develop data pipelines for handling both batch and real-time ETL processes
• Design and implement efficient solutions to enhance existing data workflows
• Develop foundational software/technology for future systems
• Identify and report data resilience issues to key stakeholders

About You

• You are proactive and results-oriented.
• You are confident working with batch and real-time data processing systems.
• You provide data-focused solutions and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• You have experience with GCP tools like BigQuery and Dataform, and real-time processing products such as Kafka and Apache Airflow.
• You have experience in defining schemas and expanding a data warehouse.
• You are proficient with NoSQL databases, particularly Firestore and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with Stripe and HubSpot is a plus!
