Computer Vision Intern

Job Summary:

As a Computer Vision Engineering Intern at 10xConstruction.ai, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI-powered robots that are transforming the construction industry. You will work closely with our experienced computer vision engineers, gaining practical experience in designing, implementing, and testing computer vision algorithms for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, localization, and anomaly detection in construction environments.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of simulation environments for testing and validating vision systems.
• Assist in the creation and annotation of datasets for training computer vision models.
• Implement and refine image processing techniques, including distortion correction, color correction, and 2D to 3D vision.
• Explore and experiment with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch for computer vision tasks.
• Gain experience with simulation tools such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim and AI Habitat.
• Collaborate with other engineers to integrate vision systems into robotic platforms.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, AI, ML, or a related field.
• Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in computer vision and robotics.
• Basic understanding of image processing and computer vision techniques.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Programming experience in Python or other relevant languages.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
