We are searching for a Senior Business Analyst preferably with E-commerce experience to join our Delivery team here in Hungary.
Working under your own initiative with required guidance and support you will be part of the Business Analysis team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully documented, understood and met by the delivered solution.
You will be working closely with the Project Managers, the Technology team, the UX/UI team and with client team members.
What you 'll be doing:
- Assessing current state to identify the starting point for a change and determining ideal future state
- Gathering, validating and documenting all types of requirements (business, functional, quality of service, etc.)
- Supporting project roadmap development
- Modelling processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Identifying stakeholders and conducting stakeholder analysis
- Working closely with clients, developers, and managerial staff
- Participating and in cases leading agile ceremonies (3 amigos, refinement sessions, backlog grooming etc.)
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining impacts
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the various stakeholders
- Creating and owning scope items such as User Stories, prioritizing and staying on top of the project backlog
- Supporting project handover and acceptance testing
- Change management – performing impact analysis and support PMs to incorporate necessary changes to the project
- Representing the project team and project progress in client facing situations (e.g.: product demos)
- Successfully managing complex and challenging stakeholders and client peers.
- Managing complex epics and requirements, supporting other BAs and project team members.
- Managing a number of BAs and some involvement in recruitment and performance management
What we expect from you:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on web-based/ecommerce projects
- Ability to run workshops with client stakeholders
- Industry-recognized Business Analysts certificate (or willingness to achieve the certificate as part of the development plan) - PMI PBA certificate is a plus
- Ability to communicate (in English) in a clear and concise, structured manner to break down complex issues and ask tough questions when needed
- Understanding agile development frameworks and processes and the end to end project delivery cycle
- Familiarity with industry standard BA techniques in Requirement elicitation, Root cause analysis, Traceability, etc.
- Working knowledge about modelling languages (BPMN, UML or similar)
- Expertise in Atlassian stack (JiRA, Confluence), working expertise in a modelling tool (Miro preferred)
- Experience in web/software development is a plus
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, outstanding problem solving, time management and organizational skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail
