Role Overview: The Engineering Manager will be responsible for guiding our engineering team, shaping our technical direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge tools and services that drive TRNSACT’s success. If you’re a hands-on leader with a passion for innovation and team development, we’d love to have you onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of engineers focused on building innovative tech solutions for equipment suppliers and truck dealers.
- Product Development Oversight: Guide the design and development of scalable, high-quality software that enhances financing options for our clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure our solutions meet industry needs and align with TRNSACT’s goals.
- Communication: Clearly update stakeholders on project progress, technical solutions, and potential challenges.
- Talent Development: Mentor engineers and foster a growth-oriented team culture.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in full-stack development, familiarity with modern tech stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, AWS, or similar), and experience with scalable system design.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present technical concepts clearly.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
