Job Description:
As a Full Stack Developer at Mattered, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing web platforms and integrations for both internal projects and client-based needs. This includes developing custom WordPress websites, managing payment integrations using Stripe and Memberpress, and working with Iterable for marketing automation. Your work will help drive our clients’ business growth while contributing to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites using PHP, WordPress, and associated technologies
• Integrate and manage Stripe and Memberpress for subscription-based payment systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to optimize front-end user experience and back-end functionality
• Work with Iterable to implement and manage marketing automation and email campaigns
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across both front-end and back-end components
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization in all development projects
• Stay up to date with the latest web development technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in PHP development
• Proficiency in WordPress customization and development, including plugin development and theme customization
• Hands-on experience with Stripe and payment gateway integrations
• Familiarity with Memberpress or similar membership/subscription plugins
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
• Experience with Iterable or similar marketing automation platforms
• Full stack development experience, with strong back-end and front-end skills
• Knowledge of web security, performance optimization, and debugging tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other CMS platforms like Shopify or Magento is a plus
• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of MySQL databases and server-side environments
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization
