Senior FullStack Development Lead - Elastio

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Development Lead to guide the ongoing development of our critical security platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing and scaling development teams while maintaining a hands-on approach to architecting full-stack solutions. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the product’s future, ensuring it remains cutting-edge in protecting businesses from ransomware attacks and evolving the product to protect our customers from new security threats as they emerge. With deep technical expertise and leadership skills, the Senior Development Lead will own the development process and deliver rapid, high-quality feature releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of developers
• Architect and design full-stack solutions (front-end and back-end) that provide the best value for our customers, emphasizing scalability, security, and performance.
• Maintain autonomy in making architectural decisions while aligning with broader product strategies and customer needs.**

Oversee continuous feature delivery in an Agile environment, ensuring a balance between rapid iteration and code quality.

• Collaborate closely with product management and customers to deliver solutions that reduce risks associated with ransomware attacks and ensure rapid recoverability.
• Perform hands-on coding, with a focus on back-end (Rust) and front-end (React), while remaining open to integrating new technologies that enhance the product.
• Continuously evaluate team performance, ensuring efficient processes and high output in a hybrid work environment.

Key Skills & Experience

10+ years of software development experience (or a highly skilled candidate with relevant leadership and industry experience).

Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate, cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality SaaS products at scale.

Expertise in full-stack development, with proficiency in:

• Front-end: React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Back-end: Rust, Node.js, or similar languages for building scalable systems.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP for SaaS deployments.
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, and experience with containerized microservices.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies like Agile and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security-focused development, particularly in building products that defend against cyber threats like ransomware.
• Experience in SaaS environments, especially in security or backup/recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of modern cybersecurity best practices and a deep understanding of how to build resilient, secure software systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
