Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):
i. Conduct comprehensive QA testing, including both manual and automated methods, to ensure product quality.
ii. Perform detailed edge case testing to identify and resolve potential issues.
iii. Collaborate with the development team to create test cases based on user stories and requirements.
iv. Monitor and manage bug tracking systems, executing timely bug fixes and ensuring resolution.

Test Planning and Execution:
i. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
ii. Execute test cases meticulously and document results thoroughly.
iii. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features.
iv. Conduct mobile testing across various devices and platforms.
v. Utilize RESTful APIs to perform integration testing.
vi. Assist in developing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

Collaboration:
i. Work closely with Developers and Designers to understand product features and requirements.
ii. Participate actively in team meetings to provide insights and QA perspectives.
iii. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing-related aspects.

Documentation and Reporting:
i. Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, cases, and results.
ii. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding testing progress and product quality.
iii. Assist in creating user manuals and guides as needed.

Process Improvement:
i. Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.
ii. Suggest improvements to streamline testing activities and increase efficiency.
iii. Demonstrate a passion for learning and growing within the QA and development fields.

Qualifications:

i. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
ii. Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
iii. Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (manual testing experience preferred).
iv. Some exposure to programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python) is a plus.
v. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
vi. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
vii. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
viii. A genuine passion for quality and a desire to learn and grow.
