About the job
The Company
At Digital Matter, we’re at the forefront of data and media innovation, empowering brands to take full control of their digital marketing. Through cutting-edge strategies in business transformation, privacy-focused data solutions, and dynamic digital media buying, we help our clients achieve breakthrough success in an ever-evolving marketing landscape.
We’re looking for polymaths: forward-thinkers who are adaptable, curious, resilient, and empathetic. Join us in transforming the marketing and media landscape as we strive to “break the agency model”!
About the Role
As a Strategy Consultant you will be at the heart of our client engagements, collaborating closely with senior leaders in teams of 3-5 to deliver high-impact results. You will take ownership of end-to-end client deliverables, applying strong analytical skills to deeply understand client needs, identify key issues, and uncover root causes. In this role, you’ll translate complex data into actionable insights, and present strategic recommendations to key decision makers in a clear and compelling manner.
Your learning and growth will accelerate as you work alongside colleagues with backgrounds at McKinsey, Accenture, Google, and TikTok, as well as leading marketers and multidisciplinary experts. To enhance collaboration and team synergy, we offer a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in our beautiful Manhattan office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key point of contact for client engagements, building strong relationships with stakeholders and driving high-value outcomes.
- Lead full project workflows, from strategy development to actionable recommendations and implementation. You’ll organize and initiate tasks independently and oversee them to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.
- Tackle complex, ambiguous problems using structured thinking, unifying disparate data sources to develop practical, data-driven solutions. This includes developing forecasts and projections, creating actionable plans, and generating insights within tight timelines.
- Produce high-impact materials, including detailed PowerPoint presentations and Excel models, that summarize findings and propose solutions in clear, concise, and visually compelling ways. You will be comfortable presenting these insights and recommendations to client management teams.
- Execute the rollout of new internal processes and capabilities, helping both Digital Matter and client teams improve operational efficiency and market positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with consistent outstanding academic record; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced consulting environment with a distinctive record of achievement and impact.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems with a strong command of data analysis and quantitative methods.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities, including the capability to influence C-suite stakeholders and confidently lead problem-solving discussions.
- Experienced in evaluating and designing processes that enhance management strategy across key functional areas such as marketing, sales, general management, and finance. Proven track record of managing projects in high-growth, high-performance environments.
