We are a fast-growing software development startup providing custom SaaS solutions to Fortune 500 companies. We’re seeking a skilled and driven Business Development Representative to help grow our client base, strengthen relationships with enterprise customers, and contribute directly to our sales efforts. This role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities and meeting ambitious sales targets.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 10+ years of B2B software sales experience, with a successful track record of selling to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Location: Must live near Providence, RI, with the ability to travel to client offices for meetings.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools to track leads and manage sales pipelines.
  • Sales-Driven: Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, resourceful in implementing creative sales strategies, and excited to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Multitasker: Able to wear multiple hats and manage priorities effectively in a growing company.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities, particularly within Fortune 500 companies.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct meetings to understand client needs and present tailored software solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers in enterprise companies.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
  • Travel: Attend 1-2 industry conferences annually to network and uncover new business opportunities. Travel as needed to client offices within the Northeast USA for meetings and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the co-founder and account executive to align sales strategies with company goals, and provide regular updates using CRM tools.
