About the job

About Us

WHEREFIT is one of Australia’s fastest-growing, HR SaaS platforms that is revolutionising fitness and wellbeing employee benefits. Our mission is to help working Australians get fit, active, and healthy, and we prioritise employee wellbeing above all else.

We're a home-grown, self-funded Australian startup that is proud to have reached our current level without external investment. With plans to triple revenue and double headcount this year, we're excited to enter the next growth phase on our own terms.

Since launching in 2017, WHEREFIT has quickly grown to become a trusted wellbeing partner at over 300 of Australia’s leading employers, including Woolworths, NAB, Australia Post, Westpac, Reserve Bank of Australia, Allianz, PwC, nbn, AMEX, EY, Lendlease, and more.

Our platform helps businesses provide their employees with exclusive corporate benefits at over 2,000 leading fitness and wellbeing brands, including Fitness First, Goodlife, HelloFresh, Anytime Fitness, Adidas, ICONIC Sport, Speedo, Adore Beauty, Under Armour, and more.

We believe that a healthy and active lifestyle should be accessible to all, and we are committed to making this a reality for all working Australians.

Role

We are looking for a highly motivated marketing superstar to join our growing Marketing Team at WHEREFIT!

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is about to complete, or has recently completed a Marketing degree. You’ll have the chance to contribute to the rollout of an exciting branding project and support our expansion into a new market. These two major projects will help shape the future of WHEREFIT and enhance employee wellbeing across the board.

In this role, you will assist the team in developing and executing a diverse range of marketing strategies designed to attract and nurture sales leads and enhance existing member engagement. Your key responsibilities will include email marketing, managing social media and coordinating the production of offline marketing materials.

You’ll work alongside a dynamic, ambitious team of experienced marketing professionals and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, providing you with valuable insights and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, analyse competitors and evaluate customer behavior to support the marketing team in strategy development.
  • Create engaging content for social, website and email marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns including scheduling social media posts, carrying out community engagement as needed, building website banners and email marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of marketing collateral and development of new collateral, ensuring that these are kept up to date and consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance on an ongoing basis and compile weekly/monthly reporting data.
  • Assist in the planning and organising of promotional events, both online and offline.
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks for the Marketing Team as needed.

Requirements

  • Marketing degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a marketing role, which may include internships, freelance work, or related projects.
  • Strong interest in marketing with a willingness to learn and develop foundational skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing channels and tools is preferred with experience using design tools like Canva highly valued.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Adaptable and able to support the team in a variety of tasks with a positive attitude and eagerness to help.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive working environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive remuneration package including base salary, bonuses and benefits.
  • Dynamic and vibrant office environment located in Fishburners, one of Australia’s leading startup co-working spaces in the Sydney Startup Hub.
  • Full member access to workshops and numerous learning, networking and startup community events within Fishburners and the Sydney Startup Hub (e.g. lunch and learns, Friday pitch nights, community social events such as Christmas and Halloween parties).
  • Zero overtime commitment - we encourage our team to dedicate quality time to personal fitness, health and wellbeing outside of work hours.
  • Access to over 2,500 unique fitness and wellbeing perks on the WHEREFIT platform, and access to other retail and non-wellbeing related perks too.
  • Up to $1,200 annual subsidy for personal fitness/sport expenses.
  • Generous learning and development budget for external training courses and our dedicated learning platform, Udemy.
  • Headspace premium subscription.
  • Monthly team lunches and social events.
  • Weekly team fitness classes.
