Director, Financial Product Development - London

Job Summary

The Financial Product Development Specialist will be a key part of the growing 21Shares global financial product team. They will help develop new and existing ETFs/ETPs, covering all aspects of the product life cycles including client facing activities in partnership with the sales and research teams. They will be primarily responsible for European ETPs and financial products, and may cover other regions such as the US and Asia.

Key Accountabilities and Scope

• Developing products for crypto assets and other asset classes as business requires
• Product structuring and index design
• Service provider and regulatory set up
• Project managing the end of end process of product development and product changes
• Monitoring product performance and product positioning to recommend product changes and value propositions
• Acting as the subject matter expert on certain topics as assigned for business need, such as staking, thematic investments
• Driving enhancement of product features
• Dealing with client queries in a timely manner
• Provide guidance to the junior members in the team as a mentor
• Acting as a partner to the sales and research teams in their dealings with clients and business partners
• Acting as a quarterback or owner for other regions from time to time, as required

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in asset management product development, financial index construction, project management, capital markets, operations or portfolio management
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in coordination with stakeholders and client engagements
• Experience in crypto assets, a plus although not mandatory

This role is based in London, UK and will be expected to work from our office in London Monday - Wednesday, in a hybrid model.
