Bxlend is hiring MLRO is a key anti-money laundering (AML) compliance role.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the entity's AML policies, procedures and controls.
Acting as the main point of contact for AML matters with external regulators.
Receiving and analyzing internal suspicious activity reports from staff.
Filing external suspicious activity reports to the relevant financial watchdog or intelligence agency as required by law.
Ensuring all staff receive proper AML training.
Conducting audits and reviews to test AML program effectiveness.
Updating senior management and boards on AML compliance risks and issues.
The MLRO role was established by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to centralize responsibility for AML compliance. Appointing a qualified MLRO shows regulators the entity is taking its AML obligations seriously.
