About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales and consulting, with a strong ability to generate leads from scratch and build robust sales pipelines. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a startup environment and can effectively navigate complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, social media, and email marketing.
Sales Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial contact to closing deals.
Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sales and consulting market.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle and post-sale.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of our IT solutions and services.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the team to develop customized proposals that address client needs and exceed expectations.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for sales contracts.
Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales revenue and track progress against sales targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT sales and consulting.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals in a startup environment.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and its trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building sales teams and managing sales pipelines.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
