Location: Los Angeles, CA
Reports to: Creative Director, Content
Role Overview: As the Art Director, you will be responsible for the overall visual look and feel of our projects. You will work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure the artistic vision is realized across all stages of development, from concept to final execution. Your role will involve inspiring and guiding a team of talented designers to create top-tier content that meets both aesthetic and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design team, providing clear direction, mentorship, and feedback to ensure consistent quality and cohesion in the art assets.
- Oversee all visual elements for brand assets and ensure that all artwork aligns with the storytelling, emotional tone, and technical specifications of each project.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to the art department / project
- Present artistic concepts and progress to creative leadership, executives, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that art assets are optimized for various platforms, including experiential, social media, print, and other digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in art direction, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles, techniques, and high-quality design work.
- Expertise in visual design principles, including color theory, composition, and typography.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for innovation and pushing creative boundaries.
