Who You Are:
As the Social Media and Influencer Manager at Sponsor a Pet, you will be part of an innovative, fast-paced team dedicated to producing engaging experiences that reflect our brand values. You will drive ideation, planning, and execution for next-gen influencer marketing for both evergreen and 360 campaigns across all parts of the marketing funnel from awareness to conversion. Your role will be crucial in maximizing our influencer programs to drive brand love and affinity, and deliver on our key business objectives.
This position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the influencer landscape, especially within the animal welfare and non-profit sectors. You should have sharp analytical capabilities to make data-informed decisions and recommendations. You will report to the Senior Manager of Influencer, Partnerships, and Affiliate, and interface with the Founder/CEO. This position also manages a digital and social media coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Sr. Manager and Founder to architect and oversee micro to mid-size paid and organic influencer marketing strategies for all key initiatives and help develop a big-picture, “always-on” strategy for ongoing, evergreen marketing campaigns, as well as brand and fundraising moments.
Build community on social channels including direct interaction on the channels.
Build and maintain brand relationships with new and existing influencers from micro to mid-size.
Support the Sr. Manager on all executions of social, influencer, and brand marketing campaigns, including contract execution, negotiations, talent and content briefing, and final content delivery.
Support key influencer, consumer, and brand events and experiences, ensuring activations are supported through key influencer partnerships.
Lead a disruptive organic mailing strategy, overseeing campaign mailer ideation, new influencer outreach, and daily send-outs.
Support the brand's overall strategy, process, and oversee 360 influencer-led paid social content, including helping to execute events.
Utilize influencer analytics platforms and survey competitive landscapes to share insights and trends to create data-driven strategies and best-in-class programming.
Create/manage a social content creation calendar, including last-minute trend video creation.
Develop standards, expertise, and best practices within paid and organic influencer marketing to inform and scale across all marketing and channel platforms. Establish guidelines and implement processes and timelines for influencer marketing.
Work with the Sr. Manager to evolve our reporting and analytics. Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports inclusive of fundraising campaigns, marketing efforts, influencer social media results, and provide insights and recommendations with a focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs.
Continuously propose fresh creative ideas while analyzing data and consumer trends to identify relevant opportunities that challenge the status quo.
Advertise and develop our affiliate marketing program
Qualifications/Experience:
2-5 years of relevant work experience in communications, influencer marketing, and PR or related roles, including direct experience managing high-growth influencer programs.
Experience in the non-profit or animal welfare space preferred.
Deep understanding of social media and digital communications landscapes, their unique audiences, and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts; a general understanding of digital marketing and affiliate marketing.
Ability to manage valuable relationships and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
Strong aesthetic judgment; can convey ideas in a clear and precise way without losing the essence of the brand; solid understanding of the brand demographic and what style of content will work best with the brand’s overall aesthetic.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, creative, initiative-driven self-starter who can take an idea and run with it.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of global/regional differences.
Exceptional time management skills and interpersonal relations.
Compensation is based on commission structure, there is no salary for this position. This position can grow into a salaried position.
