About the Team
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter. This role is local to NYC.
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Data Partner Integrations (DPI) team within the Scale organization. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering seamless and efficient data partner integrations while enhancing the frontend experience for our clients. As part of the Scale team, the backbone of our company, you will contribute to expanding our data and product partner ecosystem and optimizing our platform to support a rapidly growing user base.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product, and partnerships stakeholders to translate product and technical visions into tangible solutions, steering the product toward success.
- Partner with third-party vendors & our clients to gather requirements and co-create solutions, ensuring seamless integration of their data within the core product and the evolving marketplace experience.
- Architect, develop, test, and deploy impactful customer-facing features using our tech stack, including TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code to integrate and serve data products holistically for all client use cases, ensuring robustness and reliability with observability tools.
- Provide technical mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
- Lead and contribute to critical platform initiatives across the stack, iterating quickly on features and solutions based on feedback from internal stakeholder teams like product and implementations, and our clients.
- Envision how data products could be effectively shared within our evolving marketplace experience.
In this role, you will play a key part in driving the development of our data partner APIs and SDKs, leveraging your technical expertise to build solutions that have a significant market impact while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Who we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing frontend SDK experiences and APIs, and developing production-ready software with a strong track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with experience in client-side tools like TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), and HTML/CSS.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from ideation to completion, prioritize tasks, define requirements, and facilitate productive team discussions to make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated success in guiding and mentoring engineering teams, promoting an environment of cooperation and shared achievement.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to the evolving needs of our growing organization and product landscape while aligning with strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, with experience managing complex data structures for efficient data management and retrieval. Additionally, an understanding of unstructured JSON data and familiarity with tools like jq for parsing and manipulating data efficiently.
Nice to have:
- Experience maintaining and working with design systems and UI component libraries.
- Experience working in Fintech or the financial services industry.

This position has a minimum base salary of $131,000 and a midpoint base salary of $154,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
