Position Description: Vendorship Inc welcomes applicants for the Technical Proposal Writer position. The position is intended for the graduate with three years experience who wishes to pursue a career in the public / corporate sector. Candidates are expected to pursue mutually agreed-upon tasks resulting in tangible deliverables. Candidates will be introduced to a broad spectrum of professional activities. The candidate will be expected to collect, organize and maintain information from various sources. Candidates will be responsible for the application process, eligibility determination, documentation, and tracking the business trends. This person, independently and/or collaboratively, will work with team members from the client team to actively grow the mission of the client. This person will independently handle moderately complex to complex customer issues and problems. The candidate will work directly with the Proposal Management Director. The candidate will enter source data in a timely manner, complying with processing proposal guidelines and compliance. Need to work with a given schedule to meet deliverables.
Technical knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or technology being documented (e.g., software development, hardware, engineering, etc.).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English, Journalism, or Marketing. A certificate in grant, proposal writing, technical writing, and/or nonprofit management is preferred. Excellent research skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent writing skills. Two or more years of corporate work experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written expression. Ability to work both independently and collegially in a demanding and rapidly changing environment. Work competently within requisite systems, and online management system, to ensure data integrity, log and track all documentation. Strong data entry, Strong organizational skills. Technologically savvy - must be comfortable with advanced computer usage - and a fundamental competency to navigate web-based processing systems. Working knowledge of Windows office systems.
Preferred: Experience with data entry. Customer service experience and data research preferred

Skills & Requirements:
Basic understanding of US Government System
Experience in writing reports, responses to requirements
Research, write, and review, edit technical material for use in proposal development activities.
Work with subject matter experts to prepare original content for documents
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience writing and editing proposals and marketing materials.
Audience analysis, competitor analysis, problem definition, solution development, proposal outline
Knowledge of the Federal proposal acquisition process.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative.
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to identify proposal trends and opportunities.
Able to work independently, self-starter, self-motivated.
Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Competence in writing reports and making presentations
Motivated by fast and high growth
