About the job

Position Description: Reviewing all operations and processes to outline and reconstruct a more organized and intuitive comprehensive system and services flow of proposal submissions.
Assisting the Proposal Manager and Director.
Ensuring that all of the company’s proposals are fully executed from start to finish.
Coordinating the proposal process, preparing the actual proposals, and presenting them to clients.
Writing, editing, and other efforts associated with the process.
Reading the document, understanding the client’s expectations, deadlines, and budget.
Assisting the Proposal Management Director with a plan, writing the response, outlining each stage of the proposal, and creating a schedule to meet all necessary deadlines with the client.
Being solely responsible for all state registrations regarding IT staffing needs and submissions.
Mastering knowledge of the Vendorship mission and depth of the Vendorship.
Effectively presenting Vendorship’s distinction in varied prospective client settings and marketing situations.
Being the primary point-of-management person in facilitating all connected internal and external proposal business development strategies and hence, becoming directly familiar with the broad lay-of-the-land in the government/public sector demand space.
Working directly across all existing lanes of operation to acquire sufficient knowledge of how best to integrate problem-solving and quick-response processes and tactics.
Becoming one of the point-of-management persons in the currently unfolding process of building, implementing and expanding Vendorship’s customized Sales Force system.
Planning for, giving input in and attending Vendorship team meetings, sales introductions, client interface sessions, and industry-wide workshops, conventions and corporate associations meetings.
In addition, the Proposal Analyst will guide the team, disperse information, and oversee the production of all the parts of the proposal, making sure all the aesthetics and written content is on point. The Analyst will review the work of the team and return the project back with directions for any revisions, making sure everything is up to the standard before presenting it to clients. The Proposal Analyst will also create standardized communication procedures and templates based on industry best practices (style guides, document templates, and related collateral). They will report to clients, take into account the client needs and any issues, ongoing processes, as well attend necessary meetings.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English or other related discipline. Two or more years of corporate work experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written expression. Ability to work both independently and collegially in a demanding and rapidly changing environment. Work competently within requisite systems, and online management system, to ensure data integrity, log and track all documentation. Strong data entry, Strong organizational skills. Technologically savvy - must be comfortable with advanced computer usage - and a fundamental competency to navigate web-based processing systems. Working knowledge of Windows office systems.
Preferred: Experience with data entry. Customer service experience.

Skills & Requirements:
Experience in writing reports, responses to requirements
Research, write, and edit technical material for use in proposal development activities
Work with subject matter experts to prepare original content for documents
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience writing and editing proposals and marketing materials
Knowledge of the proposal acquisition process
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify proposal trends and opportunities
Able to work independently, self-starter, self-motivated.
Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it
Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of proposal analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
Assists in conducting research on proposals to meet agreed upon requirements
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
