What you’ll do
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Account Manager to oversee and develop relationships with our key accounts in Central Europe, primarily focusing on Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Nordics. This role will be instrumental in managing a portfolio of key accounts within the Maritime and Logistics sectors, where you’ll be working directly with Directors and Senior Managers of large enterprise organisations.
We’re looking for someone who excels in upselling and cross-selling, leveraging existing relationships to identify new opportunities across various departments within these organisations. This role is ideal for someone who is excited by the prospect of solving big problems with large client accounts and acting as a key team member in a high-performing group.
As a Senior Account Manager at Kpler, you will:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts across Central Europe, with a primary focus on Germany, to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Initiate and lead discussions with key stakeholders, including directors and senior managers, to identify business needs and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives by exploring opportunities within existing accounts, including new departments and services.
- Collaborate with Account Development Representatives to leverage leads and insights from existing clients.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings to effectively position the company’s solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in Sales or Account Management in either the Maritime or Logistics industry
- Business fluent in German
- A proactive ‘hunter’ mentality
- Driven and self-disciplined who can work in autonomy in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- A team player who always puts the business first
- Strong negotiator
- Ability to analyse complex client requirements and needs
