Your mission as a Sales Lead— Media & Entertainment (m/f/d)
Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate Sales Lead - Media & Entertainment to join our team and work closely with our Director of Sales. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with companies in the Media/Entertainment sector. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with stakeholders in the Media/Entertainment industry.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and own growth strategy for the Media/Entertainment vertical
- Representing Appinio to marketing and insights decision-makers within the Media/Entertainment industry
- Acquiring new customers, advising and coaching them on the most relevant Market Research approach, leveraging Appinio's platform and methodologies portfolio
- Scoping and qualifying client requirements for both new and existing projects
- Acting as the voice of our Media/Entertainment customers, staying attuned to their pain points, competition, and growth prospects
- Building and maintaining a strong network within the Media/Entertainment industry
- Creating partnership opportunities within the industry to further strengthen Appinio’s positioning as a research institute
- Represent Appinio at trade fairs and public speaking events, expand your network, and leverage existing contacts to drive our business
- Work closely with our Customer Success, Inside Sales and Marketing Team to maximize growth opportunities
You will thrive in this role if
- You have 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales preferably in the Media/Entertainment industry
- You have an extensive network within the Media/Entertainment industry, coupled with a strong customer-centric mindset
- You have excellent proficiency in German and English (other languages are a plus)
- You are proficient in working with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- You are based in Germany, ideally in Hamburg
- You have an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others
