What you'll do
Are you a strategic and visionary leader with a strong passion for startups and fintech? Brex is seeking an exceptional Client Sales Senior Manager to lead a team of Client Sales Executives (CSEs) to drive net-new revenue through our existing client base. Your role is not just about managing; it's about owning the end-to-end sales process, from strategic ideation to execution and performance analysis. You'll be entrusted with the authority to make impactful decisions, driving us to new heights in the fintech landscape. As the Client Sales Manager, you will also be responsible for inspiring our team, fostering a culture of empathy and collaboration, and maximizing our clients' success with Brex.

Where you’ll work
This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in office at least 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday, starting the week of January 6th, 2025. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Team Development:
- Assume ownership of the Client Sales team’s performance; leading, mentoring, and empowering them to achieve and exceed their sales targets
- Instill a sense of purpose and enthusiasm within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
Revenue Growth and Customer Success:
- Drive revenue growth within Brex's current customer base by identifying opportunities to cross-sell new solutions and expand our suite of products
- Develop strong relationships with key decision makers, including C-level executives, to serve as a trusted partner and advisor
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Account Executives, and Customer Success, to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with Brex's overall goals
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyze sales performance data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
- Utilize insights to devise data-driven strategies that yield exceptional results
Talent Acquisition and Cultivation:
- Play a pivotal role in recruiting top talent, ensuring the team is equipped to excel and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
- Cultivate a culture of empathy and customer-centricity, enabling the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences consistently
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/management role
- Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets and analyzing market trends
- Empathetic leader with a customer-centric approach to fostering strong client relationships
- Startup experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Must be willing to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday
Compensation
The expected OTE range for this role is $230,520 - $288,150. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. The OTE figure listed here includes base salary and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
