We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Marketing, Director to join our marketing team. This role will lead the strategic development and execution of our marketing initiatives to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and ensure the successful launch and lifecycle management of our products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels at both the art and science of marketing, with a proven track record of leading product marketing efforts that deliver business results.
You will:
- Own and drive comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product launches, feature updates, and campaigns.
- Develop clear and compelling product positioning, messaging, and unique value propositions that resonate with target customer segments.
- Lead market research efforts to identify customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends. Translate insights into actionable product strategies.
- Collaborate with Client Development teams to develop effective sales tools, training materials, and product collateral (pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers).
- Define and refine customer personas, ensuring that all marketing activities are aligned with the target audience's needs and behaviors.
- Oversee content development for product marketing campaigns, including product videos, blogs, white papers, and web content.
- Work with Product Management and Finance teams to optimize product pricing and packaging strategies.
- Drive end-to-end marketing campaigns for product releases and updates across channels (email, social media, paid media, etc.).
- Set KPIs for product marketing initiatives and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through data-driven analysis.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Client Development and Implementation teams to ensure cohesive messaging and product alignment.
You have:
- Experience: 7+ years in product marketing, preferably in industry, e.g., SaaS, tech, consumer products, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in launching and managing successful product marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of the product lifecycle and customer journey.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and analytics tools.
